Guests say

The Hayloft is consistently praised for its stunning views, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, and the warm welcome provided by the hosts. Guests enjoyed the thoughtful touches like the welcome hamper and homemade cake. The hot tub is frequently mentioned as a highlight, offering relaxation amidst beautiful scenery. Despite some minor maintenance issues and the presence of insects, which are to be expected in the countryside, the overall experience is highly regarded by visitors.

Guests have described the property as immaculate upon arrival, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. There are no significant complaints about cleanliness, suggesting that it is well-maintained.

The location is highly praised for its spectacular views and tranquil setting. It is mentioned as a great base for exploring the surrounding areas, with wildlife sightings adding to the charm. The rural setting contributes to a peaceful atmosphere.

The property is frequently described as comfortable, with a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, warm floors, and a cosy atmosphere even in colder months. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort level, although there was a mention of it being very hot inside during a heatwave.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the hot tub being a standout feature. The property is equipped for large groups, and the kitchen is well-stocked. However, there are some reports of maintenance issues such as leaks during a storm and a shower that only produced scalding hot water, which slightly lowers the score.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with several mentions of a welcome hamper and homemade treats. While these gestures are greatly appreciated by guests, it is politely noted that such gifts, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay :)

We have the most memorable weekend away for our mothers surprise 70th. The property is absolutely stunning, perfectly clean and well kept. There was absolutely everything you would need there. The welcome email from Melissa and Matt a week prior was so unbelievably helpful, so much so i referred back to it for tips and places to visit multiple times during our stay. Working in the events and tourism industry i must say this is by far the best property i have ever stayed at. Even if i could have found a fault it would have been quickly outweighed by the fact everything else was so perfect! Thank you so much for allowing us to create such special and memorable moments with our friends and family.
