Honeysuckle Cottage is generally praised for its cleanliness, cosy warmth, and secure patio area, making it a pleasant stay for guests with pets. The location offers easy access to local amenities and serves as a good base for exploring the area. Some guests noted the property as dark due to overhanging foliage, but the welcome packs and helpful hosts contribute to a positive experience.
Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, with only a few mentioning issues with dust and flies. The positive remarks about cleanliness are more frequent, suggesting a high standard is typically maintained.
The location is appreciated for its proximity to shops and the ease of parking, with a variety of walking routes nearby. However, some guests mentioned the need to drive to local amenities and the lack of on-site facilities.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, especially the beds. However, some guests found the indoor seating area small and the lounge dark, which could affect the overall comfort for those spending more time inside.
While the reviews mention basic essentials and a welcome pack, there is not enough detailed information on the range of facilities and their maintenance to provide a score. Some guests suggested the addition of a washing machine and cleaning utensils.
Guests often mention the welcome packs, which include treats for both humans and dogs, indicating a thoughtful touch from the hosts. However, it should be noted that such gifts may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lots of dust and dead fly's behind the bed. The toaster didn't work properly unless you held it down. Would like to see a few cleaning utensils and a mop and bucket.

Couldn't fault the kitchen facilities everything was there to use. There was a lovely welcom for us and the dogs, very welcoming so nice. The beds was so comfortable clean beautiful bedding and the bathroom especially the new one was all lovely to use. If I had to make one tiny point it was the dust around the skirting boards on the floor mainly in bedrooms and lounge. But really this wouldn't stop us recommending or coming back we would love to stay there again. When we got there the WiFi just needed to be turned off to reconnect. we had a phone call of the owner straight away, and he sorted the problem in seconds. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay â¤ï¸

We had amazing weather but had it rained, I would have liked a mop to keep floor & decking clean , everything else you could need was provided. My dogs loved their complimentary ball & treats. Super comfortable beds. Will stay again when next golfing in Llandrindod Wells
