Guests say

Tailor's Cottage in Llandrindod Wells is highly praised for its spaciousness, well-kept garden, and peaceful surroundings. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, the proximity to walks and local attractions, and the friendly owners. The adjacent pub adds to the charm, though a few guests noted minor issues with pub-related noise and maintenance aspects.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being well-presented and one of the cleanest cottages stayed in. Only one review mentioned a minor issue with cooking trays, which does not significantly impact the overall high standard of cleanliness.

The location is celebrated for its tranquillity, beautiful surroundings, and access to local walks and attractions. The village's quietness and the proximity to Elan Valley and other sites are frequently mentioned. However, one guest found the location too far from the coast, which slightly affects the score.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with several reviews highlighting the cosy atmosphere, toasty electric heaters, and comfy beds. The spaciousness and the garden add to the comfort level. A single mention of slippery stairs and springy mattresses suggests room for improvement.

The cottage is well-equipped according to guests, with a special mention of en-suite bathrooms and a secure garden for dogs. However, some reviews suggest that cooking facilities and utensils could be updated, and the lack of a downstairs toilet for disabled guests is noted.

While guests express gratitude for the warm welcome and friendly interactions with the owners, there is insufficient information regarding specific thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The cottage is so warm and cosy and very well looked after and extremely clean. The kitchen has everything you will need and was the room the family spent the most time in playing games and relaxing as it is a very big space, the sofa in the kitchen is a nice little touch. The lounger has 2 big comfortable sofas and a large flat screen TV which was perfect to keep the kids happy. Each bedroom is on suit and the showers have plenty of power. The bedrooms are all a great size with plenty of storage for clothes and the beds extremely comfortable. The WIFI was signal is very good and had no issues dealing with 5 devices connecting, again very happy kids. Overall, this is a stunning place to stay and cannot recommend highly enough. Only 20 mins away from the stunning Elan Valley and 20 mins away from nearest supermarket. All instructions from the host were very clear to understand and easy to follow. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and they also run the pub next door. There was no noise issues from the pub at all and if we had more time we would most certainly have popped in for a drink after exploring the many woodland trails on the door step. We loved our long weekend here and cannot recommend it highly enough, one of the best cottage stays we as a family have experienced as a family of 7.
