When you need to do shopping, Oswestry (7 miles) is handily nearby. South of the lesser-known but equally stunning Berwyn Mountains (14 miles), this peaceful spot is a dreamland for walkers, cyclists and wildlife watchers, offering an escape from the busier Snowdonia National Park. Situated on the Wales-England border, it’s ideal for exploring both sides, with easy access to Powys, Shropshire and Wrexham. For day trips, you’re just 10 miles from the spectacular Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall and 19 miles from the serene Lake Vyrnwy. Venture further to discover Bala and its scenic lake or explore the charming towns of Llangollen and Shrewsbury (both within 20 miles).

The ground floor also features two bedrooms that share a wet room, one of which has three interior steps. On the first floor, you’ll have nine beautifully presented bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
