Guests have enjoyed the modern kitchen, cosy wood burner, and the proximity to local amenities and scenic walks. The property's character and homely feel have been highlights for many visitors.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-presented, with spotless areas and a tidy garden. However, some noted issues with dishes and kitchenware cleanliness, as well as occasional oversights like cobwebs and an overgrown garden.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to local shops, pubs, and scenic attractions. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the coast and nearby towns, with positive remarks about the village's community feel.

Guests have found the beds extremely comfortable and the living spaces cosy, especially with the wood burner. Some reviews mentioned less comfortable sofas and the need for better lighting, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.

The property is well-equipped with a modern kitchen and good bathroom facilities. However, guests have noted the absence of a microwave and issues with the wood burner and heating instructions. The lack of secure garden for pets was also mentioned.

There is insufficient information regarding the presence of thoughtful gestures such as gifts for guests. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, and guests should not expect such amenities as part of their stay.

We loved starting each day with a relaxing walk on the beach a short drive away. The cottage itself feels very welcoming and it was great to unwind in the garden at the end of the day (although it's enclosed, other pet owners should be aware that it's not altogether secure). All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Kitchen modern, could do with a small freezer as the little freezer in the fridge is so small and had not been defrosted there was not enough room for items I needed to freeze. Bedrooms clean and comfortable beds, bathroom clean the power shower brilliant. The lounge is quite dark but with the lamps on in the evening was very cosy. I brought some wood from the local shop at a very reasonable price and used the wood burner as it did get cold on the evenings, that made it even more cosier. The tv is a smart tv so plenty of choice for watching. Wifi signal good. A few downsides, the hot tap in the kitchen is just a trickle so takes ages to fill the sink to wash up, i dont use a dishwasher as there is only 2 of us. A bit of information on how the heating works would be helpful. The kitchen was surface clean but could do with a deep clean, i had to wash all pans before i could use them and some of the oven trys were very dirty. I put that down to visitors not bothering to clean them after using them but the cleaners should check them. The cupboards are full of plates etc may be far to many but that is not a problem. There were cobwebs on the inside of the bathroom windows that the cleaners had missed, again that was not a big problem for me spiders have to live somewhere. The biggest problem we encountered was the parking. The man who owns the church opposite parks his big car and van outside on the road and makes getting on and off the parking area difficult. The local pub shuts Sunday late afternoon and doesn't open again until Wednesday, that was a bit disappointing as it would have been nice to pop out for a drink on the night. Borth beach easy to reach just 3 miles down the lane off the main road. Overall had a lovely stay in the cottage. Just a bit about the garden. It was a bit over grown but accessible once the gate is closed behind you it is perfectly safe for dogs, totally enclosed. Lovely cottage lovely village. The village shop is well stocked and not over priced, and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

The community run village shop and cafe was very much better than I expected and consequently is a 'do-not-miss' place. If I visit again, I will certainly make use of the excellent bus service to Aber and Mach. Perhaps nowadays, May is too early to expect truly warm and/or dry weather but it was a good, peaceful break anyway.
