Guests consistently praise Groes Heol for its stunning location, exceptional comfort, and well-equipped facilities. The property's peacefulness and natural beauty, including a lake and wildlife, contribute to a tranquil and enjoyable stay. The thoughtful touches by the hosts, such as welcome gifts and attentive communication, add to the positive experience, although these are not guaranteed for every stay. Some minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance are noted but do not detract significantly from the overall high satisfaction.
Most guests found Groes Heol to be well-maintained and clean, with only a few isolated comments about dust and cleanliness not meeting expectations after a 'deep clean'. The positive remarks far outweigh the negatives, indicating a high standard of cleanliness overall.
The location is frequently described as stunning, tranquil, and ideal for nature lovers, with beautiful walks and wildlife right on the doorstep. Its remoteness adds to the charm, although it is noted that it is a distance from towns and beaches, which is perfect for those seeking seclusion.
Guests report the property to be cosy and comfortable, with ample space, cosy wood burners, and comfortable beds, although one comment mentioned a bed being too soft. The overall sentiment is that the property provides a very comfortable stay.
The facilities at Groes Heol are highly praised, including the well-equipped kitchen, games room, and entertainment options. Some guests suggested improvements to shower pressure and mentioned a non-functioning shower, but these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.
While many guests mention and appreciate the welcome gifts and the hosts' attentiveness, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness. However, the consistent mention of these gestures indicates that the hosts are considerate and caring.

Great for all the family with plenty of space for storage, eating together, playing games & watching TV. We were very well Looked after by the hosts & it was lovely to arrive to some treats with the log fires burning. Weâre already talking about a return visit!

All the small details seemed to be thought through and the kitchen diner space is perfect for eating / cooking / socialising as a larger group. Nias suggestion of a Tesco delivery worked a treat, and there are some lovely walks in the area. This was our second time at Groes Heol, and we will definitely be back for a third!
