Calcot Farmhouse is a stunning four bedroom Rural Retreat boasting spectacular views across rolling countryside on the Welsh borders and a hot tub. The enviable location makes Calcot Farmhouse the perfect place for families and friends to unwind together.
From the moment you walk through the white picket gates into the garden, you will feel at home in this traditional, cosy house. The Farmhouse has been lovingly restored and retains all its original character whilst offering guests all the modern touches you would expect in a luxurious bolthole.
The convivial and well-equipped kitchen is spacious and the perfect setting for celebration feasts and relaxing breakfasts. Benefitting from a summer room to the side which leads through to the heart of the house, where you will find a comfy sitting room and separate snug. Guests can curl up on one of the three sofas in front of the fire and enjoy the wide screen television in the large sitting room, or take some time out with a good book in the well-appointed snug.
Upstairs are four bedrooms, beautifully decorated with luxurious beds to ensure the perfect night’s sleep.
Surrounded by a pretty, country cottage style garden with access to its own wildflower meadow and paddock, Calcot Farmhouse is perfect for some down time in the hot tub which is found at the side of the house overlooking the garden – the ideal place for taking in some beautiful Shropshire landscape.

Very clean; excellent heating; huge enclosed garden great for dogs; excellent hot tub; free electric car charger; great welcome hamper. Lacking bowl, bucket, large frying pan/wok; Limited toilet rolls (we bought extra); the estate walks map suggested that you enter via the woodland loop on which three of our party fell on the steep section. There was no mention of the much easier route directly from the farm. Unfortunately, the excellent estate walks required dogs to be on leads at all times.

The house was very spacious, comfortable and warm, and plenty of room for anyone who needed a quiet corner. We did however find that there was no potato peeler, no nutcracker, and as we were staying over Christmas, there was no oven tray large enough to accommodate a turkey.
