On the first floor the three bedrooms rest: a double, a twin and a single, which are all decorated with peace and comfort in mind, allowing you to maximise your stay. Garthmyl is a village between Newtown and Welshpool and is home to a pub and the Grade II listed Garthmyl Hall. Newtown, on the banks of the River Severn, offers an art gallery, museums and array of shops and pubs. The area is full of walking, cycling, fishing, clay pigeon shooting and quad biking.

Lots of flies but a working farm and fly trapper provided, fridge and oven door needs to be fixed. A guest book would be great for recommendations etc The owner is lovely nothing too much trouble. Would be great to have additional towels ( would definitely pay extra for these too could be an option) for the hot tub and mop so can keep floors dry. Logs provided for the lovely log burner which was a great touch, kept us, warm and cosy. Had to take showers/ baths at different times as not enough hot water for the 5 of us at once. However a fabulous peaceful stay would definitely recommend.
