Guests consistently praise the lodge for its tranquil setting, cleanliness, and the addition of a hot tub. The property is well-equipped, welcoming to pets, and offers stunning views with plenty of local walks. The spacious accommodation is ideal for both families and groups seeking a peaceful retreat.
Reviews frequently highlight the lodge's cleanliness, describing it as 'sparkling' and 'spotless', indicating a high level of satisfaction among guests.
The location is celebrated for its peace, tranquility, and beautiful scenery. It's noted as being remote, which is ideal for a quiet getaway, though some guests mention it's a short drive to local amenities.
Comfort is a strong point with guests mentioning the lodge's cosy atmosphere and ample space for large groups and pets. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort level, although there was a minor issue with heating.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the hot tub. However, there are minor maintenance issues like bulbs being out and a comment about the hot tub needing service, which slightly lowers the score.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to score this category.

Felt almost like out of a fairytale, all made of beautiful wood surrounded by picturesque scenery! A lovely escape from reality to enjoy and slow down! The hot tub was amazing and we had all we could require provided, an instruction manual, tips on what we could do during our visit, board games, so on! The property owner was very diligent, keeping us well informed. I would absolutely recommend, Iâm missing our weekend abode very much so!

Some areas need at little TLC. There was sticky tape left on walls & doorways from banners from previous guests. The dining rooms chairs are wobbly(will collapse soon) no grill rack for the grill section of oven, the hot tub need a good service as the jets are blocked so not bubbling. But overall we had a lovely stay.
