Pentre is a pretty riverside village settled close to the incredible scenery of the Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park. The town rests beside the Rhondda River, where there are walks towards Pentre Barracks, as well as trails at Ty'n-y-Bedw, leading out into the countryside.
