About this property

Conwy 2 miles. A delightful, detached cottage, located in rural Welsh countryside on the Sychnant Pass, between Capelulo and Conwy. Set in picturesque countryside, this peaceful cottage is set away from the crowds in some of the best scenery in North Wales, and ideal haven for families and friends. Entering into a welcoming kitchen/diner, you’ll want to put the kettle on and sit and relax straight away. The sitting room is bright and airy and invites you to settle down, perhaps with a good book or choose a DVD from the selection on offer. The bedrooms in this lovely cottage all have delightful countryside views, allowing you to see up the valley and perhaps plan your day based on the weather you see. Children will love the space around the cottage with lawns to front and rear to explore. The North Wales Path passes nearby and is well worth joining to head inland, perhaps seeing the famous Aber Falls on the way. It is possible to walk east into Conwy town and past the marina, before maybe taking a tour of the castle and ramparts. You can visit Pensychnant Conservation Centre and Nature Reserve, where you will find wildlife and birds in abundance. There is so much to see and do in the area you will be sure to want to book again and again in this fantastic cottage.

Capelulo is a small village on the North Wales coast between Penmaenmawr and Conwy. The village is in an elevated position with both mountain and sea views and is home to a pub and an Austrian restaurant. Set on the side of the Tal-Y-Fan mountain, Capelulo enjoys stunning views across Conwy Bay to Llandudno, Anglesey and the Irish Sea, and if you are lucky, dolphins can sometimes been see playing in the bay.

The property was clean and well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and easy to contact if necessary. We had a lovely stay and there are plenty of places to visit close by.

Idyllic countryside location. The house and estate have an interesting history too. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching the swallows going in and out of their nests. Another highlight was climbing the Conwy mountain nearby and seeing a herd of wild horses.

The cottage is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. as well as conveniently located for visiting all of North Wales and Anglesey. The owner is helpful and responds very swiftly. The views are wonderful on all sides and keep us coming back (this was our third visit). There is something amazing about seeing nothing but sheep and swallows out of every window of the house ! A brilliant holiday as usual. thank you !
