Guests say

Guests have praised the cottage for its tasteful decoration, comfortable beds, and scenic location, ideal for exploring Snowdonia. The property is well-equipped, cosy, and generally clean, with some guests receiving a warm welcome pack. Issues with heating and garden maintenance were noted, but the responsive management and owner were commended for their prompt assistance.

The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with only minor comments about exterior maintenance and a damp smell in one room. The positive remarks about cleanliness in the living areas and bedrooms suggest a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The location is highly appreciated for its proximity to walking trails, Snowdonia, and local amenities. The village's charm and the convenience of nearby attractions contribute to the positive feedback on the property's location.

Comfort is frequently highlighted, with special mention of the comfortable beds and cosy atmosphere. However, some guests experienced issues with heating and the temperature of the shower, which impacts the overall comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces. Maintenance issues, particularly with heating and the garden, have been raised, indicating room for improvement in this category.

While some guests mentioned receiving a welcome pack, there are not enough references to consistent thoughtful gestures, such as gifts, to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

However no lock on ground floor bathroom and fire seal needs fixing

Parking for 1 car good. Kitchen well stocked with decent sized mugs and glasses which we don't often find. Would give higher rating but for the bathroom which is tired, lots of hot water but cold tap seized. Good location for exploring Snowdonia.
