Guests say

Guests have found Ffriddoedd Cottage to be a warm, welcoming, and comfortable retreat, with a special mention for its cleanliness and the delightful touch of Welsh cakes on arrival. The location is appreciated for its convenience to the A55, making it an ideal base for exploring North Wales and Snowdonia, despite some noting the presence of road noise. The house's layout and outdoor space have been enjoyed, although a few guests mentioned the limitation of having just one bathroom.

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting the tidy and well-maintained condition upon arrival.

The location is generally seen as perfect for exploring the local area, with easy access to the A55. However, some guests have mentioned road noise, which slightly impacts the score.

The cottage is described as cozy, warm, and welcoming, with comfortable beds and a spacious layout. The presence of a log fire adds to the comfort, though difficulty with the heating system is noted.

Facilities are adequate with a well-laid-out space and an outdoor area. The main drawback mentioned is the single bathroom, which could be a challenge for larger groups.

Guests have expressed appreciation for the thoughtful gestures such as the provision of milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. While these gifts are warmly received, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

We visited as two families of 4 and it was a perfect size for us. Nice and cosy, makes you feel like at home. And views are amazing. The main road wasn't noticeable at all. We definitely would be back here!

  • Simone

Was comfortable and clean and in a nice location, yes there's the busy road but you hardly notice that it's there. Would stay again if ever in that area.

  • Lindsay

The Road is noisy but we found this was fine within the house. The space within was well laid out and clean, we appreciated the welsh cakes given on arrival. The location was perfect for getting iut and about with it being close to the A55.
