Located at the heart of the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere Reserve on the northern coast of the River Dyfi, the harbourside village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey) is home to a golden sandy stretch and is a great spot for a range of water sports including sailboarding, rowing and canoeing. Popular with surfers and anglers, the village hosts yachting regattas in the summer; soak up the vibrant village atmosphere all year round by exploring the plethora of local shops and restaurants. A paradise for keen walkers, enjoy lake views as you conquer the Happy Valley to Bearded Lake walk (7 miles) or marvel at the breathtaking waterfalls along the Dolgoch Falls Waterfall Walk 10.5 miles away.
