The property's conversion from a barn and its enclosed garden are highlights, alongside the proximity to Fairbourne beach and local walks. While some guests noted issues with cleanliness, the majority found the cottage to be clean and tidy. The owner's responsiveness to issues and the property's charm contribute to its positive reception.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness has received mixed feedback. Several guests were disappointed with the level of cleanliness, mentioning dirt splatters, cobwebs, and dust. However, others found the cottage to be clean and tidy. The owner's apologetic response to cleanliness issues indicates a commitment to improvement.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to local walks, Fairbourne beach, and nearby towns. The quiet, scenic setting and proximity to attractions make it an ideal spot for a holiday retreat.

Comfort is consistently commended, with guests finding the cottage warm, cosy, and well-furnished. The enclosed garden was appreciated by pet owners, and the wood burning stove adds to the cosy atmosphere, although some noted a lack of logs upon arrival.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage described as well-equipped. Some minor issues were raised regarding maintenance, such as the need for a vacuum cleaner and the replacement of an uncomfortable mattress. The well-equipped kitchen and efficient heating system are positives.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the owner. Therefore, a score cannot be given in this category.

The dog friendly beach is an easy walk from the cottage. A special thank you to the owner who drove from Birmingham to clean the patio after a recent flood, I really appreciated him going the extra mile; being able to use the garden with my dog, made me feel safe. It was my first time away on my own.

Steps of both back doors slippy. 3 Steps below side gate are wood and, yes slippy. The whole is a gullly from the side lane into the garden of No.1. Yes I suffered muscle pulls and joint injuries, and I'm generally quite fit. Most dogs could easily get over the low back wall. Otherwise ths accommodation is good, credit when credit is due. AM
