The cleanliness of the cottage has received mixed feedback. While some guests found it very clean and comfortable, several reviews mention that the property could benefit from a more thorough cleaning, with specific references to dust, cobwebs, and kitchenware cleanliness. These comments suggest room for improvement in this area.

The location of the cottage is highly praised, with guests loving its proximity to the beach, local amenities, and scenic walks. The convenience of having attractions within walking distance and the peaceful setting contribute to its high rating.

It felt cosy yet spacious and our two children loved that it was an 'upside down' house. It was clean and the welcome treat was gratefully received! The double bed has a head board and foot board which was slightly restrictive for one of the party (6ft3) but other than that we really couldn't fault it. We took bikes and really enjoyed pedalling to Barmouth over the railway bridge to go crabbing. But we also spent a lot of time in Fairbourne which was in easy walking or very easy cycling distance. The beach is stunning, and we enjoyed several meals in the Penrhyn bar and grill, and the chippy. The little steam train was also a bit hit. If you pay gift aid you can use your ticket many times during the year after buying it, which was a welcome surprise.
