Cae’r Ffynnon is a well-loved cottage praised for its peacefulness, stunning views, and wildlife. Guests enjoyed the cosy atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen, and the property's proximity to local attractions. The enclosed garden and the warmth of the cottage received special mentions, making it a hit with families and pet owners.
The majority of guests found the cottage clean and tidy. However, there were isolated comments about kitchenware cleanliness, which slightly affected the score.
The location is highly regarded for its beautiful views, quietness, and proximity to both nature and amenities. The scenic drives and easy access to attractions contribute to its high score.
Guests frequently mentioned the cottage's cosy and warm atmosphere, comfortable beds, and spaciousness. The efficient heating system was appreciated during colder evenings.
Facilities are generally good, with a well-stocked kitchen and efficient heating. However, comments about water pressure issues, the lack of a property handbook, and the need for more kitchenware for larger groups have been noted.
While guests appreciated the peaceful setting and the views, there were no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that could be consistently expected, hence the score cannot be determined.
Traditional cottage at the foot of The Carneddau mountains, with warming wood burner in an impressive stone fireplace and stunning views out towards the Menai Strait and Anglesey.
Enjoy stunning sea views out towards the Menai Strait and Anglesey next to the warming glow of the roaring wood burner at this traditional Welsh cottage at the foot of The Carneddau mountains. The 3-bedroom property is complete with welcoming lounge, open plan kitchen/dinig area, a modern shower room and separate cloakroom. Mrs Longhurst
The views are utterly stunning. And it’s very peaceful!! Enclosed garden, great for the dogs. Small stream at the end of the garden. Plenty of parking. Great water pressure and a brilliant shower for a holiday let! With the heating on it’s lovely and warm. Lit the fire one night, it’s a very good log burner. Characterful thick walls. It’s in the middle of nowhere, yet only minutes from civilisation. Welcome milk, and Welsh cakes, never expected but always appreciated. Lovely touch! As a couple we literally used only half the property, we slept in the central bunk bed room as it was a cosier space. Hardly used the lounge as kitchen/diner so big. So this is in fact an awesome family cottage all one the ground floor, lots of space! Thoroughly recommend this unique stunning location and solid large cottage.
Mr Clayton
Lovely private location and waking up every morning with views across the Menai Strait could not be better. We really enjoyed our two weeks stay.
