Guests say

Borthwen is a well-regarded cottage in Barmouth, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and stunning views. Its proximity to the town centre and the beach, along with ample off-road parking, makes it an ideal location for visitors. Guests find the property comfortable and generally well-equipped, though some suggest minor improvements.

Guests consistently describe the property as very clean, which indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The property's location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with its close proximity to the beach, Barmouth centre, and local pubs and restaurants.

The property is noted for its comfort, with guests mentioning the comfortable furniture and spaciousness. However, a suggestion for additional heating in the downstairs toilet on cold days slightly affects the score.

Facilities are generally good, including a large garage for bike storage. However, the absence of a hair dryer, welcome pack, and the need to purchase additional toilet rolls indicate room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.

The accommodation itself was very clean and spacious and we all thought the beds/mattresses were fantastic. The location of the accommodation is just brilliant, with shops and beach just a short stroll away. Barmouth is a lovely dog friendly town. There are plenty of scenic walks from the door step and a plethora of pubs and cafes to choose from, for refreshments. We would definitely return to Barmouth and wouldn't hesitate in booking this properly again.
