Y Buarth in Caernarfon receives high praise for its warm, cosy atmosphere, friendly hosts, and beautiful, peaceful location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, including the AGA cooker, and the property's suitability for dogs. The enclosed garden and scenic views add to the charm, making it a favoured spot for both relaxation and exploring North Wales & Snowdonia.
Reviews consistently mention the property being clean and well-maintained, with only a minor comment about hygiene that seems to be an exception rather than the rule.
The property's location is highly regarded for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions, beaches, and Snowdonia, making it an ideal base for exploration.
The majority of guests find the property comfortable, noting the warmth of the AGA and the cosiness of the rooms. A few comments about the seating and bedroom heating suggest room for improvement.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and enclosed garden. However, some guests mention issues with heating and a need for maintenance, which slightly lowers the score.
While guests speak highly of the friendly and helpful nature of the hosts, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

The accommodation was well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. I loved the big comfy corner sofa in the conservatory, which was lovely to relax after a long day exploring.(itâs a new sofa that isnât in the photos) The enclosed garden was great for our dogs. The bed was huge and comfy for a good nights sleep (but needs more pillows). The heating was good for chilly mornings, even though we went the first week in September. We didnât need to use the log Burner but the storage heaters were great. The only downside was the tv, it only had apps, not freeview. Overall a lovely place to stay and friendly host, who was there if you needed help with anything but not intrusive.

LOVED Bella the pony in the paddock next to the cottage and tramp the cob horse in one next to that. Great cottage, everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is now a new comfy fabric corner sofa in the conservatory and the brown sofa seen in current photos of the conservatory is now in the lounge area replacing the bar stools by breakfast bar. we loved our stay, the only comment/recommendation I would make is maybe get some new pillows as the ones had a slight greasy hair smell, but I just bought myself some to use as I needed new ones at homes anyway. The tv worked perfectly fine for us after I realised the first day that the cable had worked lose at the back of the tv once I moved the bracket arm. Wifi and phone signal were good, in fact better than we have at home. Nice to hear the Steam trains going past and the sound of the river was relaxing. Would return again in the future without a doubt if we come back to the area. great location to visit all the places in North wales we wanted to visit. Was nice and rural without being remote. great secure garden for our dog.

The mattresses could be improved, otherwise all good. Loved the conservatory and the view across to the hill.
