However the decor was a little dated and there was some dust. The fridge door shelf had a large crack so could only use half of the shelf. WiFi was a little patchy and we couldn't work out whether smart tv was available. However these were small faults and didn't stop us from feeling instantly at home. The kitchen/living area was functional and cosy, as was the bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the place and it was great that the owner took the trouble to meet us at the beginning and the end of the stay. We would love to go back.

Unfortunately the dividing walls are very thin allowing noise and smells to easily filtrate into the other cottage. There was no provision of any supplies, not even toilet roll or washing up liquid. I would consider the supply of basic cleaning materials and absolute must. Apart from the shower there was not hot water. There was a vulnerable person staying and the property was felt to be totally unsuitable such that alternative accommodation had to be sought for the duration of the stay.
