Briallen Lodge is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, stunning location, and cosy atmosphere. Guests appreciate the privacy, wildlife, and scenic views, with several mentioning the friendly farm cat, Mrs Lloyd. The hot tub is a popular feature, though some noted issues with heating and maintenance. The property's thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs, are acknowledged, enhancing the overall experience.
The lodge consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as immaculate, tidy, and well-maintained. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to the guest experience.
The location is frequently highlighted as exceptional, offering seclusion, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions. The natural surroundings and wildlife are appreciated, although some guests noted the rural roads can be narrow and winding.
Comfort receives positive remarks for cosiness and spaciousness, but there are several mentions of an uncomfortable mattress and pillows. The balance of feedback suggests a generally comfortable stay with some room for improvement in bedding quality.
Facilities like Wi-Fi and kitchenettes are well-received, but there are recurring comments about the hot tub's maintenance issues and limited storage space. While the hot tub is a highlight, the need for better upkeep and clearer instructions is noted.
Guests often mention the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs and gifts, which add to the charm of the stay. However, it's important to note that such gestures, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed for every visit.

Situated between the sea and the towering Cader Idris mountain range in southern Eryri (Snowdonia) is the picturesque market town of Llanberis. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore Eryri (Snowdonia) and then relax on the beach in Barmouth, Fairbourne, or Aberdovey. The town itself has a wide variety of stores, bars (including five pubs and a wine bar), eateries (including several highly regarded restaurants and cafes), and bakeries (two of which provide daily fresh loaves and pastries). Dolgellau is a designated 'cycle break centre' with a variety of dedicated bike routes all throughout the area, and it is also home to over 200 listed structures, reportedly the biggest number in all of Wales. The Coed y Brenin mountain bike route is nearby, and the surrounding area is perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful natural setting.
