Guests consistently praise Gwengraig Cottage for its spaciousness, comfort, and stunning location in North Wales & Snowdonia. The property's cleanliness, cosy log fires, and well-equipped kitchen are frequently highlighted, alongside the added enjoyment of a wood-fired hot tub and games room. The surrounding views and opportunities for walks and wildlife spotting contribute to a peaceful and relaxing stay, with many expressing a desire to return.
Reviews consistently mention the property's cleanliness, with guests finding the house tidy upon arrival. One guest noted the need to clear out fireplace ashes, but this appears to be an isolated comment.
The location is highly praised for its stunning views and proximity to walking routes and the Mach Loop. However, some guests noted the difficulty in accessing the property during snowy conditions, which slightly impacts the score.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the property spacious. The presence of a cosy log fire adds to the comfort, although one review mentioned a draughty window, which slightly lowers the score.
The property's facilities, including the hot tub and games room, are well-received. However, some guests mentioned maintenance issues such as a leaky shower and the effort required to heat the hot tub, which affects the score.
While guests appreciated the welcome pack and the provision of firewood, there are insufficient comments on consistent thoughtfulness, such as gifts, to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.
