Guests say

Y Bwthyn is a well-received cottage with a beautifully renovated interior and a delightful garden. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, and the property's proximity to local attractions. The outdoor seating area is a highlight, perfect for evenings with pets. The spiral staircase, however, is noted as narrow and steep, which may be challenging for some.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with proximity to trails and a local pub. The scenic setting contributes to a positive experience.

The cottage is described as cozy and quiet, with a comfortable bedroom. However, some guests found the spiral staircase difficult to navigate and the couch small, which affected the overall comfort level.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. The outdoor space is a standout feature. Some minor suggestions for improvement include additional hand towels and coat hanging space.

While guests did not mention receiving gifts, the lack of a welcome pack and limited provisions such as toilet paper and hand wash suggest that thoughtfulness could be improved. However, it should be noted that gifts are not guaranteed.

Just a couple of observations though, it could do with coat hooks in the living area as there is nowhere to hang your coat if it rains. It could also do with a larger sofa. It's a bit snug and not big enough. After a while it start to get really uncomfortable. Apart from that all was good and we will definitely be back.

Quite a home from home. Lovely and quiet location with a great outdoor space. Great walks from the property. The spiral staircase is quite different, however is very narrow, which could pose a problem with some people. Would recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return.

However, it was a bit disappointing that there was no welcome pack at all, one loo roll provided for 5 day stay and no hand wash in the bathroom, all minor issues but given the cost I think you’d think these may be included. The couch is small and meant that comfort was missing from downstairs area. However the kitchen had good facilities and all you could need and the bedroom was nice too! Being near the George pub and trail - such a pretty setting, was ideal. Overall a lovely break and stay.
