Guests say

Guests appreciate the cottage's beautiful location near beaches and countryside, ideal for dog owners and those seeking tranquility. The enclosed garden and welcome basket are highlights, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Some guests noted areas for improvement, but overall experiences were positive.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, though a few mentioned issues with cleanliness, such as dog mess in the garden and dirty doors. The majority, however, did not raise concerns, suggesting a generally high standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to dog-friendly beaches, local shops, and the beauty of Snowdonia. The convenience of public transport and the peaceful setting were also appreciated, making it a great base for exploring the area.

Guests found the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable, with a warm and homely atmosphere. Some mentioned the property being a bit cold and the double mattress being uncomfortable, but overall, the comfort level was deemed satisfactory.

Facilities were generally good, with a secure garden and well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests noted the absence of a washing machine and the need for better heating instructions. The steep stairs were also a concern for some.

The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch that many guests appreciated. While such gestures add to the experience, it's important to note that these are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

The property has everything one would need in a holiday home. It's a clean property, spacious downstairs and sufficient space upstairs. A wet day was made easier with large TV and WiFi, and there was plenty of space outside for the car and a garden to enjoy too. The property makes for a short trip to both Harlech and Barmouth as well as being a short walk from an excellent butchers and a cafe. Owners provided a nice care package of Welsh goods and there were staples in the property so we could function on arrival. Key instructions were nice and simple too. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. We had a fantastic week.
