The cottage was so cozy and although it is small, there were 6 of us (grandparents, parents and children!) and we had ample room for our needs. The cottage was so well equipped it was like home from home with everything we needed including games for the children and we could also log into our apps on the tv so we could watch films. The local shop is a few minutes away and was really well stocked. You can park one car outside the cottage (with care) but there is plenty of nearby free parking nearby so we chose to do that instead. Barmouth is 10 minutes away by car and thereâs lots to do with children. We enjoyed The Dolphin for traditional fish and chips, Saffron for a curry and Knickerbockers for amazing ice cream! All were child friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back as the cottage is so comfortable and in such a good location for exploring and there is still so much for us to see as we didnât manage to fit it all in. Thank you!

Glorious beaches and wondrous waterfall walks literally within walking distance. The house itself is perfect, with absolutely everything you need. Cosy and comfortable with off-street parking and is a gorgeous base to enjoy everything Wales has to offer. My family have been five times now and my children have grown up excited for their next visit, as have my wife and I. We cannot wait to go back

The kitchen was particularly well equipped. Ty Uchaf is well situated for visiting many nearby attractions, including the beautiful local beaches. The parking is somewhat awkward and reversing into the lane beside the cottage makes it easier when leaving, as the main road can be busy at times. Communication with the owners was very good and the information provided prior to our stay was much appreciated. All in all we had a very enjoyable visit..
