There is also a small balcony with views of the River Dwyryd and Vale of Ffestniog that leads to stairs down to the garden terrace. At the end of an action-packed day, look forward to snuggling up with your loved ones with a sumptuous spot in front of the flames of the wood-burning stove in the sitting room, or escape into the pages of a captivating book with a seat in the snug․ There is a small book library and board games to use. Penrhyndeudraeth is a large village with shops, restaurants, a Post Office, and a railway station on the Ffestiniog Railway. Portmeirion, a famous unique Italianate village, is just two miles away, surrounded by glorious sands and towering woodlands. From Porthmadog, you can board the Ffestiniog Railway to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Beddgelert, to the north, is a charming riverside village. Enjoying an idyllic location within the Snowdonia National Park, there's an abundance of outdoor adventures to be had.
