The cottage is very comfortable: I will be missing the bed and the bath for a long while to come! All necessities are provided (and some treats too). One of my favourite things about the cottage is the fact that the terrace at the back leads straight out onto footpaths over the hills/mountains behind llan ffestiniog - I spent sunny evenings watching the sun go down from up there. It was easy to get out and about from the cottage: I walked to cwmorthin, went to Betws-y-coed, beddgelert, Porthmadog on the Ffestiniog railway, portmeirion, walked up yr wyddfa and took the train to Llandudno and walked the coastal path to Conwy. Also perfectly placed to visit my friend in Tanygrisiau. Thank you for a lovely week.

It was beautifully decorated to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. It was also thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The owners also left some treats for us which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. We really enjoyed our week there and would definitely recommend it to others.
