Step inside Miners Rest and you will be greeted by a snug and inviting open-plan living space, complete with a kitchen featuring exposed brick, a breakfast bar seating area, and a sitting area with a woodburning stove set within a charming slate inglenook fireplace. Sink into the large corner sofa and enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV, or gather around the dining table with access to the rear garden, where you can soak in the stunning mountain views and watch the railway pass by. As you make your way upstairs, you will find two well-appointed bedrooms, each equipped with its own TV for lazy mornings in bed. The first bedroom boasts exposed brick walls and a Velux window, while the second bedroom offers a unique triple bunk bed with a double bed below and a single bed above. After a day of exploring the surrounding area, relax and unwind in the gorgeous bathroom, featuring a bath with a shower over. Additional convenience is provided by the cloakroom, complete with a basin, WC, washing machine, and tumble dryer to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. And with Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) right on your doorstep, you can easily embark on breathtaking hikes, scenic drives, or simply bask in the breathtaking landscapes. The fascinating old slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is situated in a superb position for exploring the Snowdonia National Park. There is a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat. The main local attractions include Zip World Slate caverns, the longest zip line in Europe and fastest in the world, this is a great underground adventure. The slate mines now hold the prestigious status of a world heritage site, awarded by unesco and visitors can take enthralling underground trips there to see mining as it was done in days gone by. The famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway also runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog. Nearby is Portmeirion village, famous for its architecture and the film set of the cult TV series The Prisoner, plus local beaches, suitable for children, are within easy driving distance.
