Guests say

Guests generally appreciate the Harlech Apartments - Efnisien for its comfort, cleanliness, and peaceful location. The property boasts a spacious layout with quality furnishings and thoughtful touches like Welsh cakes and milk. While some minor maintenance issues and limited kitchen workspace are noted, the overall experience is positive with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The majority of guests found the apartment to be very clean, with particular praise for its condition amidst the COVID-19 situation. However, a few guests mentioned specific instances of overlooked areas, such as rubbish in a vase and a musty smell in the bathroom, slightly affecting the overall cleanliness score.

The location is highly praised for its quietness and proximity to stunning beaches and Harlech Castle. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting and the convenience of local shops and eateries, despite some noting the small size of Harlech. The scenic beauty and tranquility contribute to a high location score.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the apartment, especially the large and comfortable bed. The peaceful environment contributes to a good night's sleep. Some concerns about chilly evenings and the lack of heating control are noted, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

Facilities are generally well-received, with modern kitchen appliances and comfortable furnishings. However, guests have reported issues such as a lack of hot water, problematic blinds, and insufficient kitchen worktop space. Maintenance concerns, including non-working lights and a tricky Keysafe, have led to a lower score in this category.

The provision of Welsh cakes, milk, and a free pass to local castles are mentioned as thoughtful gestures, enhancing guests' experiences. While these gifts are appreciated, they are not consistently noted across reviews, and as such, cannot be guaranteed for future guests.

Slate place Matt's and coasters were filthy along with some crockery. Could not get WiFi at all for the duration of my stay. Little things I know but just need to box them off. Altogether a good break.

A wonderful location to access walking in the hills, along beautiful sandy beaches and stunning castles. Having a reserved parking space helps a great deal. Will visit again!

  • Charlotte

No dishcloth, no broom, so difficult to clean up properly. The bathroom and bedroom still smelt of drains despite a number of previous comments pointing this out.
