Snowdon View is a charming cottage in Harlech, praised for its stunning views and ideal location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space, beautiful garden, and proximity to local amenities. The cottage's character and thoughtful touches, including family-friendly facilities, contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Despite some minor maintenance issues and the steep hill location, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.
The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it well-maintained. A few noted minor issues with cobwebs and crumbs, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is highly praised for its spectacular views and convenience to local attractions, despite the steep hill. The proximity to Harlech town, the beach, and Snowdonia make it a desirable base for exploring.
Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with some noting the need for additional pillows and concerns about the flatness of existing ones. The snug size is mentioned, but overall, the comfort level is satisfactory.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being equipped for both adults and children. Some guests suggest improvements in maintenance, such as the decking's slipperiness and the need for basic cooking supplies.

This is a delightful property that's perfect for a couple seeking a romantic get away from it all location or a small family looking to explore the area. This charming cottage has a homely feel and a warm and welcoming ambience. The sitting room, with an intimate dining area, has a lovely fireplace with warming woodburning stove and there's a patio door taking you onto a decked balcony with amazing views of the mountains, the Llyn Peninsula and across the countryside. The raised decked balcony is just perfect for alfresco dining or simply a wonderful tranquil place to sit and relax after a long day walking on the mountains or day on the beach. Steps lead down to a lower garden area which is grassed and is great for children to have a kick about. The end of the garden offers a picnic dining area and additional seating from where you can admire Harlech Castle a mere breath away, plus there's a sheltered area under the decking providing storage for bikes, kayaks and canoes - access to be arranged with property owner.Walks are in abundance from this delightful cottage and a visit to the Harlech Castle and visitors' centre is a must. Harlech offers a good selection of independent shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, along with a magnificent sandy beach and just over a mile away is the famous Royal St. David's Golf Club, one of the finest links courses.
