The Stable Cottage in North Wales & Snowdonia is praised for its breathtaking, remote location ideal for digital detox and nature immersion. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the warm welcome from the owners, and the comfort provided. While some minor issues with facilities are noted, the charm and tranquility of the cottage, along with its proximity to walks and stunning views, make for a highly recommended stay.
Most guests found the cottage clean, with only a few mentioning areas where cleanliness was slightly below expectations, such as kitchen utensils and pet hair. However, these seem to be isolated incidents rather than the norm.
The location is consistently lauded for its stunning views and tranquility, offering a perfect retreat for walkers and those seeking solitude in nature. The remoteness and scenic drives are particularly appreciated.
Guests find the cottage warm and comfortable, with a cozy bed and sufficient amenities for a pleasant stay. Some guests mention a low doorway and an old mattress, but overall, the comfort level is high.
Facilities are generally good, with all necessary amenities for a stay. However, there are comments about weak shower pressure, lack of Wi-Fi, and a noisy boiler. The absence of a dishwasher and the condition of the washing machine are also noted.
The owners are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing a warm welcome and assistance when needed. Gifts such as wine and toys for children are mentioned, adding a personal touch, though it's noted that such gestures are a bonus and not guaranteed.

We would have liked a downstairs wc, but the combination of lovely views, excellent weather and the owners Emlyn and Helenâs company made it very enjoyable.

Perfect peace! The only problem was finding Craig Isaf. I think it would help if after the first no through road in the instructions where you carry on and ignore it, there is a second no through road further on which you turn up. This is on the left where the main road goes sharp right. You then drive to the end of the road.

The weather can be unpredictable but it didnât dampen our enjoyment and exploration of this beautiful area. A perfect spot for walking the lanes or the mountains or popping down to the coast. Would recommend and would love to return soon if we can.
