Plas Gwynfryn is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its spaciousness, beautiful grounds, and suitability for large groups. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the property's character, and the attentive management. The location offers easy access to local attractions and is ideal for both relaxation and adventure.
Guests consistently report high standards of cleanliness throughout the property, with bathrooms noted as clean and to a high standard. One isolated incident of a smell in a bedroom due to leftover food does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
The property's location is highly praised for its beautiful surroundings, proximity to local amenities, and easy access to both the Snowdonia National Park and nearby beaches. The scenic views and tranquil setting are frequently highlighted.
The property is generally found to be comfortable, with spacious rooms and communal areas. Some guests mention that the beds could be more comfortable and that the sofas are a bit saggy, suggesting room for improvement in this area.
Facilities are well-regarded, particularly the well-stocked kitchen and the extensive gardens. However, some minor issues with appliances and furniture maintenance are noted, such as a broken dishwasher and leaky fridge, which slightly impact the score.
While guests express gratitude for the warm welcome and the helpfulness of the property manager, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The house is so spacious and the gardens are absolutely amazing - our dogs loved it. Caroline was there to greet us, show us around and answer any questions we had. The house is only a short walk to the village where the pubs are excellent (and all dog friendly). We were very lucky with the weather and were able to sit outside a lot, admiring the scenery. A week we will definitely not forget!
