Tyn Llwyn is a charming cottage praised for its character, comfortable furnishings, and enchanting surroundings, including a stream that's a hit with both pets and children. Its proximity to Harlech beach and Snowdonia makes it an ideal rural retreat, though some guests noted minor issues with amenities and maintenance.
The property is generally described as clean, with one mention of it being 'nice and clean'. However, a suggestion for an end-of-season deep clean, particularly the oven, indicates room for improvement.
The location is highly regarded for easy access to the coastline, countryside, and attractions like Snowdonia, making it a favourable spot for guests seeking both relaxation and adventure.
Guests find the house warm and comfortable, with very comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The presence of a stream and the property's seclusion contribute to a comfortable and tranquil stay.
While the house is well-equipped, there are several mentions of missing amenities such as toilet roll, dishwasher tabs, and logs for the stove. The lack of towels and issues with WiFi also suggest that facilities could be better maintained.
There are mixed comments regarding thoughtfulness. Some guests were disappointed by the lack of a welcome pack, which was expected but not provided. As gifts are not consistently mentioned, it's not possible to accurately score this category, but it's noted that small touches can significantly enhance the guest experience.

The house is large and the kitchen is well equipped. It was a bit like visiting the three bears cottage as my daughter took on the role of Goldilocks, and checked each bed to find the perfect one!! I would say it would have been good to know before we arrived that there were no towels, but a quick trip to the shops solved that. Also the place could do with an end of season deep clean, especially the oven.

Lots of space inside and out . The beds were very comfy . Lots of places to visit near by . On the down side there were no logs for the log burner ( not a problem as there was central heating if needed ) Also there were no towels again not a problem for us as we had taken our own . Both were mentioned in the amenities so could be a problem for others . We also had a problem with the WiFi it went off on day 4 and was still off when we left . We did enjoy our stay

Very well equipped very comfortable. The river running down the side is the highlight of the property! The children loved playing in it and the sound of it is enchanting.the beds are extremely comfortable, I have stayed in many houses in wales and this is definitely the best , itâs not ultra modern if that what your looking for but it fulfilled all our needs.if I had to say anything it would be maybe a radio could be added and we were a little disappointed there was no welcome pack or tray on entering.would definitely like to stay again .
