What our customers say about their holidays

    • Wendy - Verified booking

We were able to drive right to the front door following the information supplied by the owner.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the accommodation, it being very spacious and immaculately clean. It was nice to find the furniture and fittings were very high quality. The beds were SO comfy with thick duvets and crisp, clean bedding. There was ample space for our clothes and the kitchen was well equipped. We loved the coloured cutlery handles. It's sometimes just simple things that makes a difference. Although there was a dishwasher we just washed up by hand. We were supplied with fresh towels for the bathroom and kitchen, including dish towels, dish washing clothes and a pan scrubbing sponge. We read through welcome folder and learnt what items were recycled and which bin or box to put them in. We made sure everything was disposed of flattened and washed. Although the weather was a bit cold and wet it didn't spoil our plans. We worked out how to put the heating on low a couple of evenings and the bathroom radiator but we couldn't work out how to turn it off again. I was concerned about the amount of electricity it was using. It was also great to be able to park our car up the driveway as the road was quite busy at rush hour. We really enjoyed our holiday and loved our accommodation, thank you for making it a pleasant space to relax in.

From the moment we opened the door we were wowed!

Thank you for the great welcome pack! The apartment for 2 had everything we needed for our stay which was long overdue. There was a very useful info pack with instructions for all the appliances and local information. Plush carpeting and spotless throughout and bright with lots of natural daylight. The silver lamp was a nice feature as was the wall decor in the lounge. There were many useful sockets and there were all the appliances we have at our home! The bathroom had plenty of hot water and a very powerful shower, again spotless. Very peaceful location and we had great sleeps in comfort. There was also a communal garden with flowering bushes and benches. The bus stop and train station were next door. It was ideal for our walks and also the stones. beach had fab views of Conwy. The only down side was having to go back home! Thanks to the owner for such a perfect stay.

Our week at 33 Deganwy Castle was the hottest so far this year.

We found the apartment very stuffy even with the windows open. At night we had to shut the windows due to the seagulls making so much noise. I know this isnt the owners fault however if we hadnt been able to buy a fan we would have had to leave early. Also the blinds in the apartment didnt block the light at night coming in from the courtyard outside so much so you could almost read by it. Apart from those hiccups we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is well decorated and very clean. The owner left a lovely greatings gift and card much appreciated ☺ Deganwy itself is a pretty costal village but not many amenities. There is a Coop about quarter mile away from the apartment and a few cafes/ restaurants closer by. Bigger supermarkets are available via car. Sandy beaches are close by and relatively clean even though dogs are allowed on the beaches.

Our stay in Deganwy Castle was very comfortable.

Very spacious fully equipped super spotless clean apartment. The living room/kitchen diner was immaculate and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The sofa and bed was extremely comfortable. Rear costal area is just at the back of apartment where we enjoyed our evenings watching coastal view and sunset. There’s lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance which was handy. Heather is very helpful and informative from the beginning. We enjoyed the complimentary milk, wine, chocolates. There’s allocated car parking . Train stationis is only 2mts walking distance .We would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. Once again thanking Heather for your care and hospitality which we are highly impressed.

This is a lovely clean modern apartment, with great views of Great Orme, with all the facilities you need in it.

The big down fall was when we turned the gas radiators on. There was no water going through to heat them up,which can only me they were capped. Waking up in the mornings it was freezing and there was condensation on the windows,I mean they have a heated towel rail in the bathroom, whats the point when the gas heating is turned off. That should all be checked before any new clients move in. We should have complained about it but we didnt, fix this problem because otherwise that can be an excellent flat. The stairs and hallway is all carpeted, which makes it more homily. I mean this is part of the United Kingdom where it gets really cold at this time of the year.
