    Callander Holiday Cottages

Callander is a bustling tourist town on the River Teith, not far from Stirling. It gained fame as the location for the television series Doctor Findlay’s Casebook and its distinctive location, set beneath high, wooden crags. Balance out the delicious local cakes and teas with a hill-walk in the area. Footpaths run along the River Keltie, Bracklinn Falls and Callander Crags, and the old Callander to Oban railway track is now a cycle path – keeping you active through the day and indulge in the evenings.

Lying just south of the Highland Boundary Fault, holiday cottages in Callander are the perfect place to stay while travelling between the Highlands and Lowlands or onwards to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Choose from large houses with traditional beams and log burners to stylish apartments with loch views. Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, family fun, or romance, there is a Callander cottage for you. We even have dog-friendly properties so no furry friends are left behind!

Callander holiday cottages are all covered by our best price guarantee. With thousands of holiday cottages available and our customer service team always on hand for a chat, you won’t find a better place to book your next stay.

    Ben A'an

The prominent pointed peak of Ben A'an is a recognisable feature of the Trossachs landscape. The Gaelic word "the little, pointy peak" is where its name actually originates. The car park is at the base of the mountain, which offers panoramic views of Loch Achray in itself, while the views from the summit extend as far as the Arrochar Alps on the western coast of Loch Lomond. There are several different walking routes to the summit.

    Bracklinn Falls

One of Scotland's most magnificent waterfalls, the Bracklinn Falls was once visited by Queen Victoria. They are in the Callander area's woods, and are particularly stunning after a significant downpour. The bridge is currently being replaced so cannot be accessed, but you can still view the falls from the side. The falls are just under a mile from the car park.
