    Isle of Man TT

    This ultimate, adrenaline fuelled motorbike event is held on the Isle of Man in May and June every year. It sees the world's greatest motorcycle racers test themselves around islands’ 37 mile public road course. The course passes through tiny villages to the highs of the mountains.     The Calf of Man Bird Observatory and Nature Reserve is a hidden gem for bird lovers. Located on a tiny island off the coast of the Isle of Man, the reserve boasts an impressive array of seabirds, including puffins, razorbills, and guillemots.     Peel Castle

    Peel Castle (Cashtal Phurt Ny h-inshey) is set on St Patrick’s Isle, overlooking Peel Marina. It is steeped with Manx history and was built originally as a place of worship, but became a fort for the 11th century Viking King of Mann, Magnus Barelegs. Explore the grounds, Chapel of St Patrick, Round Tower and Great Garrison Hall. Audio tours, entrance across a footbridge, parking on the mainland (100 metres away), access via steps. Visitors are encouraged to take picnics as there are no food outlets in the castle. West Quay, Peel, Isle of Man. IM5 1TB

    Castle Rushen

    Castle Rushen is located in Castletown (Balley Cashtal) and was built around 1200 AD. It is a great example of a preserved medieval castle. It is now owned by the Manx National Heritage and is now open to the public. Inside the limestone castle you can see the gate house, see the guards in their vaulted rooms, learn about the castle’s history and climb up the spiral staircase and enjoy the impressive views from the roof. Family friendly, children are free with a paying adult. Seasonal opening times. Accessible access to the ground floor and courtyard, plus accessible toilets and car parking. Toilets & car park.
