What our customers say about their holidays

    • Gavin - Verified booking

We had a lovely short brake in Lilac Cottage.

It is an old cottage which has been fully modernised and tastefully decorated without detracting from the charm of the cottage with it's thick walls and small windows. It is also comfortable with good quality furnishings and a well supplied kitchen. It is well located off the town centre and there is access to the beach using crossing points across the golf course. Happy to recommend Lilac Cottage. Ideal for two persons.

Lilac cottage is a lovely little cottage well equipped and comfortable.

It met our expectations and was exactly as described. We were out every morning enjoying beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside and so I would like to suggest that some more up to date local information and maps of the local area would Be helpful and interesting for people new to the Moray coast.

Lilac cottage was very cosy and welcoming, the welome pack exceeded expectations.

Tea,coffee, sugar and milk bread and butter was more than i was expecting. Previous reviews said there weren't any ? Almost 5* except the bathroom could do with a new suite. Perfect for a couple and we totally enjoyed our 3 night stay.. could have stayed longer . Would highly recommend.

      Lovely cottage, very clean.

Good location. The only downside is the cottage is cold at this time of year. There is central heating but the radiators were not very warm. It's an old stone cottage with stone floors so felt very airy. The owners obviously realise this as there are two fan heaters provided.
