I was very pleased with the property, which was clean, modern and well organised.
I was also surprised with the size and found it very good value for money. The owner knocked on the door the next day to make sure I was comfortable and she was very pleasant. The gardens were well managed and the scenery around the cottage was lovely. I would love to stay again but would imagine itâs becoming very popular amongst Sykes members, so I will be booking in advance next time. Thanks very much for our stay.

We had a lovely, relaxing time here.
The house was spotless and the mattress is just what the doctor ordered. We didn't cook too often, as there were some good eateries close by, but the facilities are more than adequate. There are several walks from the door and the fit ones may like to walk to the river, just remember you have to get back so save some energy. All in all a really good place to relax in or go exploring.

Absolutely loved the Pool House!
We could not have asked for a nicer place to spend our weekend. Everything we needed was provided, including towels and treats for the dog. The garden was just right for our puppy to run around and play. Friendly owners next door but not intrusive at all.. lovely to meet them and their dogs. Will definitely return in the future for a longer stay .

We had a very nice time and had guidance from the owner in terms of places to go & things to do.
The area was quiet and a scenic escape from city life. Our dog loved the garden and the company of the dogs next door. However, the stairs outside were a challenge for a relative in terms of coming in, going out & accessing the garden.
