What our customers say about their holidays

The cottage was absolutely lovely and had everything we needed for the weekend and the location was amazing. My only slight criticism was the cleanliness in the Kitchen and the hot tub. We had to wash all the plates and cutlery when we arrived as they were filthy - food still on them all. Not a biggie. Also the cheese grater still had cheese all in it from previous vacationers - I left it in the sink to be washed as we'd not used it. There were also leaves and dog hairs on the kitchen floor, and muddy splashes on the kitchen unit behind the living room door. Nothing major but looks like the kitchen could do with a deep clean. The water in the hot tub had a funny smell to it also - like it was dirty so I'm not sure when that was last emptied and re-filled. We only used it once for that reason. But it's a great little cottage and we'd definitely re-book it.

The property was really lovely. There are just a few things I need to draw your attention to, the master bedroom could do with a few comforts, it was a little bland and quite old fashioned. There was also mould on the ceiling in the corner of the bedroom. The bath matt in the bathroom was mouldy plus a shower curtain is very old fashioned. The curtains could do with updating. I was also disappointed with a little bit of rubbish to the side and back of the shed. I don’t expect this when the property has been cleaned for me. The property is overall lovely but I feel a few things have been done on the cheap for the price I paid for it. The photos only show the l best parts of the property.

We had a great week and this cottage has a perfect location just 2-3 mins to the sea front and all the shops, bars and restaurants but very private and quiet at the house! Lovely jacuzzi was perfect for a relax after many days out with our dog!! The location of Mumbles is heaven for a dog and so many great beaches and walks to do or just potter around the town. We had a great week and would hugely recommend it. Many beaches are dog friendly also and even at the end of June we’re quite so even better for the dog.

The property was in a very good location & suited our needs, being very close to shops, restaurants & cafe. The cottage was clean & comfortable. Mumbles is a lovely place to stay, especially if you like walking near a seafront. Good for exploring other areas. We also quite like the market at Swansea town centre, some lovely local produce to purchase especially when self catering & reasonably priced. Would stay at property again especially being pet friendly. Enjoyed not tub.

Positives - great location and off road parking - hot tub was a great extra treat - property had all of the main appliances and extra things we needed (including iron, clothes airer etc) - good internet and ok TV - quiet - friendly neighbour! Negatives - very thin curtains in bedroom - relatively uncomfortable main bed and pillows - property smelled a bit of dogs - carpet was quite dirty looking with some marks/stains (likely not helped by being a light colour)
