      Sanderling is in the perfect location to explore North Devon with the Tarka trail on the doorstep and a very short drive to Saunton Sands. The property has everything you would need if you wish to have some nights in however there are some lovely restaurants a short walk away. The outside shower is perfect after a day on the beach to clean down surf equipment and the dog! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

      This bungalow is a lovely property to enjoy a holiday in the pretty village of Braunton. Lovely large proportions whether referring to the room size, the dining room chairs and table, the sofas and TV or the King Size double beds. The Williams Arms (20min walk or 5min drive) has fabulous food (carvery every day 12-2pm). Great bakery in the village centre and Squires the fish & chip shop a must!

      Fabulous holiday home, exactly as described, we could not have asked for more. Nice, quiet location, extremely convenient for North Devon coast and access to a lovely local town centre. The food at the local Williams Arms is amazing if you’re looking for a dog friendly pub. We would highly recommend it and would stay here again. Thank you.

      We just had a fantastic stay at the sanderling. It was clean, spacious and in a great location set on a residential road just outside of town, with a short walk to the nearest shop and supermarket it has quick access to everything. We loved the upstairs bedroom and the beds were super comfortable it really felt like home from home.

      Sanderling is very spacious and in an excellent location - it’s in a very quiet street but very conveniently placed for everything that Braunton has to offer. It has a really well stocked kitchen if you want to cook and plenty of spacious living space. If we go back to Braunton I wouldn’t hesitate to book Sanderling again.

    Saunton Sands in North Devon is a favourite for longboard surfers, walkers and nature enthusiasts. The beach sits in front of Braunton Burrows, one of the largest sand dune systems in Britain and recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

    Woolacombe Beach

    This award winning beach in Devon is a firm favourite with families and surfers. There's ample parking and the beach is lifeguard attended which means it's popular for swimmers. An excellent range of amenities are available nearby. Restrictions for dogs are in place during the summer.

    Putsborough Beach

    Putsborough Sands is a sweeping golden sand beach, lapped by the Atlantic, to form the southern section of Woolacombe Sands. Close to the Baggy Point headland which provides the beach with a little shelter, the waters are popular with surfers, particularly longboarders.
