What our customers say about their holidays

      We had a lovely stay.

The location was great, only 10 mins drive to Whitby. It’s very quiet, even on a busy caravan site. The accommodation is well equipped. The only downsides were it is classed as family friendly but you have to take your own travel cot & Highchair. This wasn’t an issue but would have been much more convenient not to need to take them. We also stayed in October & the weather was quite cold some days & nights, we had our 2 month old baby with us, the heating appeared to go off on a night and the rooms cooled down very quickly so I had to keep getting up in the night to manually put the heating back up to keep it a warm enough level for our baby. This was a minor inconvenience for our otherwise lovely stay.

We had a great stay at Ewe Crag Beck Lodge.

The lodge was lovely and comfortable and furnished to a high standard, with comfy beds, blankets and pillows. There were plenty of utensils, cooking items, and crockery and we cooked Christmas dinner. The lodge was clean but could have been cleaner in some areas, the en suite shower also seemed to lack pressure. Some additional dishwasher tablets would have been helpful as we were there for a 7-night stay but we had taken some with us just in case. The park was very peaceful, with the lodges set out with a nice distance between them. It was easy to get to Whitby and we would return, we didn't want to come home!

The property was lovely - the write up does not do it justice as everything you need is there including wash tablets, washing up.

Liquid etc. The location is perfect for exploring North Yorkshire and is very peaceful even in the first week of the summer holidays. The only reservation for us would be when all the loges are occupied the outside seating area and living area would not be that private as there is another lodge directly opposite. We would definitely recommenda stay though and will look to stay again as it was perfect for us and exceeded expectations.

We used this lodge for a get together for the 4 of us.

The location is excellent for exploring the brilliant countryside and seaside. The 4 of us were very comfortable in this well furnished lodge and we highly recommend staying here to explore the local area. We had everything provided in the lodge for a relaxing and excellent break. Local pubs took 45 minutes to walk to; however, that was in the snow. Will not hesitate to book here again the next time we visit this area.

We just loved our holiday in Ewe Crag Beck Lodge, the lodge was perfect and the surroundings wonderful.

It was all very relaxing just what we needed. There was a very good instruction folder on the appliances and a very informative folder about the site and area, loved it that there were copies of the Wild Life Trust magazine included. A walk through the woods down to the 'pond' revealed just how well maintained it all is and how wild life is being encouraged. We saw a wide variety of toadstools - so interesting.
