What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Lean - Verified booking

What a perfect place - ideal for one or for a couple. It was really clean and had all the essentials. Although the bedroom and en-suite are on the lower level (accessed by a door from the driveway), the spiral staircase leads up to the open plan living/dining/kitchen area with a small south-facing patio looking down the valley with the sea beyond - perfect for sitting out enjoying the peace and quiet with just the distant sound of the sea and the birdsong. There was plenty of hot water, a good shower, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is wonderful, tucked away at the end of a little lane and just a pleasant 5 minute walk to the secluded beach (although getting down to the sand involves walking over rocks). There are miles of cliff walks and nowhere on the Gower is more than about 20 minutes by car. I'll be back!

This was our first time to the Gower and immediate when entering the chalet we were very impressed with the kitchen spec, the lounge and the lovely bedrooms and bathroom. The shower was fabulous. All mod cons were included and the location of the chalet was brilliant, overlooking the entire park. We were greeted by some beautiful Welsh cakes on arrival and a bottle of delicious Prosecco, which was just so thoughtful and enjoyed by all. We had a great 1 week stay and the chalet benefits from just being round the corner from Caswell bay and is local to Mumbles and other attractions like Oysermouth castle,, plantasia, supermarkets, bars, cinema etc. would definitely recommend this gem of a chalet

An excellent cottage for 2 people and a dog in a very quiet location. Dark skies at night if you are into star gazing. Well positioned for exploring the rest of the Gower peninsular and not too far from Swansea. The cottage is situated right next to a short, but rough, track to the Wales coast path, from where there is a good walk west to Port Eynon and a lovely walk east to Oxwich Bay. Both of these walks can be turned into circular walks directly from the cottage. The equipment provided was mostly good, seating and beds are comfortable. This was our second visit to the cottage.

This is a great place to stay. Garden fully secure with a lovely outlook so peace of mind if you have dogs. Well equipped house with rooms, furnishings & the kitchen is superbly equipped for cooking. Great entertaining space for eating. Really lovely bifold doors open up the house into the garden. Love that the owners check all okay but unless needed leave you to get on with it. Location is great to discover or in our case rediscover the area. I cannot recommend any higher the Gower itself for a holiday or this place to stay in order to do this. Thank you for a superb holiday!!

Perfect cottage for a couple and a dog. Cottage was immaculately clean, well presented and extremely comfortable. Lovely views from balcony and whilst lounging in lounge. Garden self contained so excellent for the dog and a plethora of walks immediately accessible from cottage, as were lovely beaches that were almost deserted on each visit and a short stroll away. Bed was extremely comfortable and the en suite handy and with a good shower. Great location to explore the Gower Peninsula and surrounding areas of South Wales. We have already recommended to friends and family.
