Guests say

Shore View is highly praised for its cleanliness, stunning views, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, the property's proximity to local attractions, and the thoughtful touches like a welcome pack and telescope. Despite minor critiques about comfort and maintenance, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Guests consistently note the property's spotless condition, with only a single mention of a minor issue with kitchen utensils, suggesting exceptional cleanliness standards.

The property's location is celebrated for its beautiful views and convenience for both local amenities and exploring the Lake District, although some guests note the hilly terrain of the town.

The majority of guests find the beds and seating comfortable, with a few individual preferences regarding mattresses and sofas. The upstairs lounge is particularly appreciated for its comfort and views.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and useful amenities. There are isolated comments on maintenance issues such as a vacuum cleaner and dishwasher, but these are not widespread concerns.

While guests mention welcome packs and additional amenities, there are not enough reviews explicitly discussing the thoughtfulness of the hosts to provide a fair score. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Have stayed a few times now, so feels a real “ home from home”. Every window has a view over the Bay, quite exceptional. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, beautiful well fitted kitchen with lovely dining area, and the upstairs lounge has ever changing views across the Bay (all depending on the weather!!!). A beautiful outside terrace.
