Join the High Weald circular walk from outside your door and wander through the countryside into Tenterden and enjoy its many cafes, bars and restaurants or you can continue on to the vineyard at Chapel Down in Small Hythe, where you can enjoy a guided tour and taste their award winning wines and beers. Take a ride on the wonderful Kent and East Sussex Railway towards Bodiam and its ancient castle. This area is know locally as the Jewel in the Weald and has many beautiful parks and gardens to explore. Other highlights are Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest which are great for walkers and cyclists.
