It is ideally located right in the heart of The New Forest, just a short stroll from the centre of Burley, a charming village with tea rooms, pubs, cycle hire, quaint gift shops and a fabulous ice cream parlour. Roaming ponies and cattle, Donkeys and (during pannage) pigs can be found casually wandering through Burley. The unspoilt forest and heathland with an abundance of wildlife makes the New Forest a must visit destination. For miles of beautiful walks, head into the forest right from the cottage or alternatively the surrounding area can be explored by car or on bicycle via the many cycle paths, where you can discover some of the charming villages, towns, and attractions the New Forest has to offer.
The stunning coastline with sandy beaches at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Mudeford Spit are all just a short drive away and offers plenty of water based activities such as windsurfing, boating and swimming and paddleboarding. This cottage is gorgeous, comfy, warm and well equipped.There is plenty of space and loads of storage space, although the chest of drawers in the main bedroom are not a lot of use as the drawers are too small for much.The kitchen is great, warm and well equipped. It could probably do with more worktop space. The lounge, with the log burner is snug and comfy although the sofa is not so comfy.

Rachel has made this cottage a dream, beautiful home from home it’s become a little haven for myself and my autistic teen daughter to aid her recovery after she suffered an inflammatory disorder post Covid that impacted her brain and nervous system. It’s like a beautiful mini retreat and a little haven. Beautifully done out and clean. We have stayed twice and would highly recommend.
