We we're a group of 10 women in our 60s. The downstairs bedroom was great for one of us who needed an onsuite. The lounge was large... a great space for games and chat. The kitchen diner was large enough and well equiped. We we're warm and cosy. The beds and bedding we're good quality and comfortable. The surronding area had gorgeous views. We enjoyed going to Hartington and walking from there. The sunday roast at the Waterloo inn, Biggin, was delicious.

Whitehouse Farm was perfect for our needs; we were a family of 14, 8 adults, 5 children and a toddler. Plenty of room, in particular the lounge had enough seating. The furnishings were of a high standard. Plenty of crockery. Two kettles and toasters were appreciated. The were some supplies left out for us when we arrived, cakes, cheese, biscuits, butter and wine. The only negatives were it was slightly remote, too far to walk to the nearest village with small children, and the showers weren't brilliant. Having said that we would return; the owners even allowed us to use their electric car charger.
