Clamp Farm Barn is a spacious, semi-detached renovated holiday barn with exclusive use of an indoor heated swimming pool, pool table and games room with mini bar and darts. Well-equipped and furnished, it has exposed beams, a vaulted ceiling and wood-burning stove in a large inglenook log fireplace. There are garden areas to the front and the rear with mature hedge surrounding for the ultimate privacy, and the swimming pool has its own mini bar and darts room. In addition to the barn and above the swimming pool, there is an annexe with two bedrooms and a bathroom. An excellent area for walking, golf, cycling and birdwatching. Stowmarket is a stone’s throw away from historic Ipswich and home of the Museum of East Anglian Life, and has shops, restaurants, a leisure centre and trains to London (1½ hours). Situated in the heart of Suffolk with many picturesque towns and villages to visit including Bury St Edmunds, Diss, Eye, Debenham, Lavenham and Long Melford, all with interesting shops, restaurants, amenities and attractions. Visit the county towns of Norwich and Ipswich, the Suffolk Heritage coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, the ancient burial ground at Sutton Hoo (National Trust) and Stonham Barns. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Excellent place to stay. The pool, dartboard and pool table kept everyone amused through the whole weekend. We didn’t feel the need to go out and the kids just kept using the pool. Great to have a large supermarket and food outlets within 5 mins away. A couple of points that would have made it perfect:Mattresses were too hard.No oven gloves or tea towels on siteThat’s it really. Great place for the family to stay.And ‘The Crown’ pub which is five minutes up the road does a superb lunch and pint.

This was a lovely place to stay with a large family. The house is gorgeous and really felt like a home. Great size living room and dining room for hosting larger groups and great size kitchen too!The pool was fabulous and really added to the overall fun of the weekend. Also that the only shower in the house is the en-suite - which we were fine with but just so people are aware. The main bathroom just has a bath. However, would be nice to have some logs provided to use in the gorgeous fireplace, as the living room is so grand with big windows and no curtains it did get a little chilly at times. Overall would love to come and stay again in the future.
