    You can drive to Framlingham Castle on the B1116 to Framlingham town in East Suffolk. It’s approximately a 40-minute drive from Ipswich via the A12 and B1116. When you arrive, park by the castle entrance (which is free for English Heritage members).

    The closest train station to Framlingham Castle is Wickham. The Greater Anglia railway service stops here from Ipswich and Lowestoft. If you catch the train to Wickham, there are bus services which will take you a five-minute walk away from the castle.
