Entry door, baggage/coat stow and simple laundry area define the ground floor hallway, whilst all other living, eating, dining and sleeping facilities occupy the much larger upper floor. This recent conversion has everything you will need for your stay, with a spacious open plan living, kitchen, dining area and fantastic elevated views across 5 acres of paddock encompassing grazing sheep and sweeping countryside beyond. (Spring bank holiday and weekends in Jul/Aug attract typically a small number of family campers to one of the paddocks). You can cosy up on the sofa together to watch a film or play a board game together. In the evenings just walk a short distance to enter your own romantically lit private spa garden with a hot tub to relax in and to gaze at the magnificent night sky.
The property is near to the beautiful town of Fordingbridge, a small riverside town known as the northern gateway to the New Forest, where there are a number of pubs that will be well worth a visit during your stay. There is so much to do nearby, you can visit the New Forest, a vast expanse of heathland and woodland area with free roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys. There is also Cranborne Chase which provides dramatic scenery and is home of the Bradbury Rings, an Iron Age hill fort. Both are Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can visit Kingston Lacy, a beautiful National Trust manor, or Moors Valley Country Park for an exciting day out with cycle hire, ‘Go Ape’ treetop climbing and a golf course.
The New Forest Waterpark will suit wakeboarding enthusiasts new and old or those simply wanting to try their hand at kayaking and paddle boarding. Blashford Lakes nature reserve is a beautiful area to walk around, or to spend time in a bird hide to see what you can spot - common terns, lapwings and oyster catchers are often seen here feeding on the lakes. Further afield you have Salisbury which is a medieval cathedral city, and if you head in the opposite direction you can visit Bournemouth with its award winning sandy beach. This is the perfect property for your romantic break away where you can walk together in the breath-taking countryside, explore some of the many days out nearby and relax in this stunning property. The Coach house is a lovely converted hay loft attatched to the owners home, mostly above their lounge area. Very quiet & peaceful area. On arrival Monica explains all the rules & explains how everything works. All fittings are good quality. Slept really well, bed very comfy. Fantastic shower.Had wonder weather and it was nice to sit watching sheep from lounge area. Pot holes down the road were atrocious, broke our car spring! Reported to council, who filled the worse 2 whilst we were there, but there’s still loads of smaller ones. Welcome pack was only 6 tea bags, 2 loo rolls and a few spoons of sugar. So called at a supermarket en route. Hot tub is private(ish) in a nice garden area, Only used it once because it was cool when we tried & somehow, between us, during instructions we had pressed something wrong, so we reset it & used it on day 4. The tub is actually so 50 steps from the house across the parking area and I wish I had taken a robe to wear for the walk. If you have 1 early & 1 late riser, the open area of wall/roof between bedroom & lounge causes the sleepy person to waken as soon as kettle goes on. Overall a lovely break in a nice area, walked to Fordingbridge (25 mins) & had a wander but drove down to the south coast each day to walk near the sea. I would visit again if I was in the area.

Your colleague resolved the issue of communication with the host in a timely manner. The host warned us about the pot holes in the road (public), so guests need to drive extremely slowly in places especially in the dark. Otherwise the accommodation had lovely rural views, and comfortable furniture.
