Take a leisurely morning stroll through the historic market town of Wem (4.5 miles) before heading off to Whitchurch (9 miles) to learn why the town is known as the birthplace of Cheshire cheese. Further afield, discover historic Shrewsbury (11 miles), which is celebrated for its medieval street plan, timber-framed buildings and beautiful trails along the banks of the River Severn. Or make a beeline for the National Trust’s Attingham Park (18 miles) to explore its Regency mansion and 200 acres of impressive parkland.

Pull into your private parking space and step inside your two-storey retreat. You’ll be met by a light-filled sitting room that leads you into a chic, open-plan kitchen/dining area. Take a moment to appreciate the autumnal tones and original timber beams before rustling up your favourite meal in the kitchen area. Share a casual dinner at the dining table by the window, before you retreat to the sitting room to stretch out in front of your favourite TV show. At the end of the day, you’ll find two beautiful bedrooms upstairs, a large king-size and a pretty twin. Both bedrooms share a smart shower room with a walk-in shower.
